It seems to have swung round very quickly, but it's time to get your dancing shoes on for another round of Mutant Pop. This month we have a very special guest by the name of Butane (aka Andrew Rasse), who's come all the way from St Louis to play for us. He's been releasing stuff over the past year on Alphahouse, Rygular, and International Freakshow amongst others; most notably 'On The Ket', which came out last summer on Jeremy Caulfield's Dumb Unit imprint. Here's a quote from a Mr. Michael Mayer to get you all excited: 'Butane is hot. He's doing some of the most upfront minimal stuff these days. 'On the Ket' is darn sexy. Dirty dancing on a more abstract level.' Do I need to say any more?
Minimal masters Mike Bull and Gareth Watkins will be kicking out the ketaminimal jams upstairs along with Mr Rasse, and us Tape lot will be effortlessly blending house, electro, techno and disco on the bottom floor. You never know, we might even let Ben from Skull Juice into our record boxes for a little guest slot... If we're feeling generous that is! Hope to see you there!

Fucking hell - what a night!!! Was really worried at the start as it took ages for people to arrive but it came good in the end and the place was really busy.
The Tape boys supplied some top tunage downstairs while Butane was taking the roof off upstairs. Wicked stuff.
Roll on next month!!
