Rather like a proud war general sending his troops into certain death, I'm not going to give up on this TAPErs' Chart idea (come on, I've given it a silly official name and everything) - so, to make it more accurate and interesting, keep leaving comments (on any post) telling me the tunes (past or present) that your ears are currently thanking you for. Good.

While we're here, and while we're on the subject of war, I may as well offer up the Optimo mix of Franz Ferdinand (pictured above) that's been floating around. For all the punk-funk raucousness/italo stylishness that's going on, I don't think it's entirely successful. But then, is any remix of Franz going to sound good in the wake of Erol's 'Do You Want To'? Probably not, but judge for yourself:
