Mike is co-founder and resident of Mutant Pop along with his partner-in-minimal-crime Gareth Watkins and us wily TAPE boys. This is a list of his current top tuneage, in no particular order save for the ubiquitous Carl Craig mix of Theo which firmly takes the crown of Top Tune. As he himself said to me, "I know it's hardly news but this fucker rocks and after the reaction it got when I played it at Mutant Pop on Friday it needs to be at the top. I LOVE THIS TUNE!!!!!"

cheers gaz...have you got a tracklisting for 'seville sunrise' you can e-mail me? No rush... kiransande@hotmail.co.uk
Serge's green Ep is amazing! 'Adventures in Failure' is a surefire blockrocker any time, any place...Personally didn't think too much of the chicken lips/juan maclean track, but i see where you're coming from...Not yet heard the andersson, dirt crew, or nhar, but looking forward to doing so....thanks mate, i'll incorporate some of those into the TAper's chart (due soon).
That Tomas Andersson is good... However, it's a little too much of an electro-by-numbers tune for my liking. I echo Softy about the Juan mix of Chicken Lips (it's just missing that special something) and the Serge (check 'Adventures In Failure' on the electro-jackin' 'Tape Me Out (Part 2) mix - see the January posts for the tracklisting and link). It's easily the best track he's done IMO. That Duoteque left me a bit cold as well, which was a bit of a disappointment seeing as I loved the first two releases.
I also think the All About Drugs E.P. is a little bit better than the last, but boy, does it make the crowd move when i play it out...But Drug Queen still is the bomb.
For me, the two tracks on the Green E.P. are authentic blockrockers, also.
indeed, 'drug queen' is a dancefloor pulverizer
