Party Monster

Very excited about this one...

The Key, my favourite London club, plays host to the ever-reliable Andrew Weatherall, who's joined, among others, by honorary Berliner Ewan Pearson (wow), Safari Electronique's Marc Ashken and Treibstoff's Gabriel Ananda & Cio D'Or, not to mention the formidable Phonica DJs - including one of TAPE's favourite past guests, Simon Rigg. What a way to start the summer - hope I see some of you there. Simon will also be playing the Noise of Art multimedia festival at the National Film Theatre on Friday 28th April, in support of Nathan Fake and I:Cube...bound to be good.

and don't forget the lovely heidi, who is probably singlr-handedly responsible for half of Phonica's success: There's nothing like a hot chick what knows rekkids to excite the dancemusic geeks.

how can i forget heidi? she terrifies me - not only over the counter, butevery time I go out in London when she always seems to be stood at the bar. But yes, Simon assures me she is lovely (and he finds my Heidi-terror laughable), she is indeed hot and the more I hear her, the more I think she's a wicked dj.
true sayings, though.

I too had Heidi phobia, until I realised she was capitalising on it to sell me *way* too many records. Then I stopped. Funny how the number of purchases stayed the same though....and she is a party machine...just as I suspected: the perfect woman, only heard her play out once though so can't comment on djing skills.

Why are we talking about Heidi? I feel debased.

Point taken. In answer to your text, I'll probably be well up for this. I know for sure that I'll lap up Pearson's set, and hopefully Weatherall'll be able to suppress his Acid Drop fetish for one night to pull out an acid-electro workout worthy of his past glories.

On the Ananda side of things, have you heard his 'Ihre Personliche Gluckmelodie' track on Karmarouge? It's a total electro-tech barnstormer and well worth checking if you haven't already. Let me know if you haven't and I'll send it to you tomorrow when I'm posting.
