TAPER's Chart 20/03



Ok, so here it is, the first TAPER's Chart, our new regular 'survey' of what the people who read this blog are enjoying in their lugholes. This was compiled almost entirely arbitrarily from the many comments you left in answer to my request - thank you all for you submissions, and apologies to anything/anyone left out. great idea. Why have you used a picture of the guy who did the voice of Shredder in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon though? (also known for being Uncle Phil in Fresh Prince)

Don't talk so lightly of acting/voice-over powerhouse James Avery! Er, I've got no idea why. I guess the firendly embrace between James and Stevie W symbolizes the wider mission of love that TAPE likes to promote. And I was in a big fuckin' rush. Tell us what your listening to

Powerhouse has got to be an understatement, but i cant think of any better words at the moment, so ill agree with that..

between messing around with ableton, Im still pretty hooked on my new dubsided vinyls i got last week.
also very pleased to see Induceve & Solid Groove on Mr Alkan's latest chart!

oh, this track is an old classic! so fuckin groovy... well, Einmusik has gr8 stuff in general - deep and energetic at the same time, you know what I mean... Plus, if I'm not mistaken, all their trax are released exclusively on one label - Italic.

exactly, neon b. 'jittery heritage' is a classic, and their mix of The Shock's 'Manhattan' on Boxer has been one of my favourite tracks of the year so far
